This is Lesson 6 of 6 in the "Spy Mission: Drama Adventure" unit. In this session, Year 6 students will perform their final spy-themed drama, applying the ten elements of drama. They will demonstrate expressive skills, characterisation, and stagecraft, before engaging in structured reflections to refine their understanding of dramatic storytelling.

Lesson Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students will:
- Perform their spy-themed drama, integrating tension, characterisation, and expressive skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the ten elements of drama (role, relationship, situation, voice, movement, space, time, language, symbol, mood).
- Give and receive feedback on performances using structured reflection techniques.
Required Materials
- Printed copies of student scripts or cue cards
- Simple props (e.g. sunglasses, briefcases, fake documents)
- Timer or stopwatch
- Whiteboard and markers for post-performance discussion
Lesson Breakdown (45 Minutes)
1. Warm-Up: Secret Agent Energiser (5 Minutes)
Objective: Activate focus and energise the group before performing.
- Play "Spy Movement Freeze": Students move around the room using different spy-like actions (sneaky tiptoe, fast chase, hiding pose).
- When the teacher says “Freeze!”, they stop in a dramatic spy pose.
- Add layers: Give a mission (e.g., "Find the secret document") while they move.
2. Final Performance Preparation (5 Minutes)
Objective: Ensure students are prepared and confident before their performance.
- Each group does a quick “Whisper Rehearsal” (running lines quietly).
- Remind students to use space effectively and project their voices.

- Are characters believable?
- Have they considered their use of symbols and mood?
3. Spy Mission Performances (20 Minutes)
Objective: Students perform their dramas, demonstrating their understanding of dramatic elements.

- The use of voice and movement to create character
- How the storyline unfolds clearly
4. Structured Reflection & Feedback (10 Minutes)
Objective: Encourage self-reflection and evaluate how drama conveys meaning.
