A social group is people who spend time together and share common interests Examples: sports teams, school classes, hobby clubs We feel connected because we enjoy the same activities Social groups help us make friends and have fun
What is a Cultural Group?
A cultural group shares traditions, language, food, and celebrations Examples: Italian-Australians, Chinese-Australians, Aboriginal Australians We celebrate special festivals and eat traditional foods Cultural groups keep family traditions alive
What is a Religious Group?
A religious group shares beliefs about God or spirituality Examples: Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jewish people We pray together and celebrate religious holidays Religious groups teach us about kindness and caring for others
