The story starts on a leaf at dawn. The ladybug travels to many different places. She meets animals in gardens, farms, and wild places.

First - The Grouchy Beginning
The ladybug wakes up feeling grouchy. She doesn't want to share aphids with the friendly ladybug. She says 'Want to fight?' to everyone she meets.
Then - The Bossy Middle
The ladybug challenges bigger and bigger animals. She acts very bossy and rude. She picks fights with a yellow jacket, stag beetle, and many others.

Finally - Hungry and Tired
The whale doesn't even notice the tiny ladybug. The ladybug realizes she's very hungry and tired. She flies back to where she started.
What the Ladybug Learned
Sometimes when we feel grouchy, we need food and rest. Being bossy and picking fights doesn't solve our problems. It's better to be kind and share with friends
