Lesson Breakdown (2 Minutes)

1. Quick Hook (30 seconds)

Teacher writes on the board:

"J’aime le chocolat. Je mange du chocolat. Le chocolat est délicieux."

Then asks:
"Qu’est-ce qui manque? Comment pouvons-nous mieux connecter ces idées?"

(Expect responses like "et," "parce que," "donc.")

2. Mini-Lesson (45 seconds)

Introduce marqueurs de relation (transition words) as tools to connect ideas smoothly. Give three categories with examples:

✅ Addition (et, aussi, de plus)
✅ Cause & Effect (parce que, donc, alors)
✅ Contrast (mais, cependant, pourtant)

Write an improved sentence:
"J’aime le chocolat parce que c’est délicieux."

• Teacher shows a flashcard (e.g., mais).
