Teaching Instructions

Students will be creating a Stay At My Haunted Hotel story. Directions: You have decided to open a new hotel...in a haunted house. Choose your dream haunted house from the pictures below. Cut out the haunted house that you like best and glue it onto your writing page. Next, Glue the picture of your haunted hotel in the box below and colour it in. Then, persuade people to stay at your haunted hotel for Halloween! Ask the students to think creatively and write in detail using the adjectives they have previously learned. Example : Why should people stay at my haunted hotel, it is haunted with ghosts that they like to play tricks with you and talk to you (Visual/hearing). The food is gooey and slimy but very delicious sweet (taste/smell). The floor of the hotel is wobbly like water (Feeling).
