How to Catch a Ball
Watch the ball with your eyes Make a cup with your hands Move your feet to get under the ball Bring the ball into your body Practice with soft balls first

Catching Practice
Partner throwing and catching Start close together Use soft foam balls Take one step back after 5 catches Celebrate your successes!

How to Throw a Ball
Hold the ball with your fingers Step forward with opposite foot Bring your arm back like a bow Point where you want the ball to go Follow through toward your target

Target Throwing
Throw at large targets on the wall Start 3 steps away from target Use underhand throws first Try overhand throws when ready Count how many hit the target

How to Strike a Ball
Keep your eyes on the ball Hold the bat or paddle firmly Stand sideways to the ball Swing level through the ball Follow through after contact
