Rule 1: We Listen with Our Ears and Eyes
Look at the person speaking Keep our bodies still and quiet Show we're listening with our face Wait for our turn to speak
Rule 2: We Use Kind Words and Actions
Say 'please', 'thank you', and 'excuse me' Help others when they need it Use words that make others feel good Keep our hands and feet to ourselves
Practice Time: Kind Words
Think of three kind words you can say to a classmate Share with a partner Practice using them in sentences
Rule 3: We Take Care of Our Learning Space
Keep our desk and classroom tidy Put materials back where they belong Walk safely around the classroom Take care of books and equipment
