Curriculum Information

Lesson Objectives

✅ Use "Creo que" (I think that) and "Hay que + infinitive" (One must... / It is necessary to...) in structured sentences.
✅ Make connections between previous vocabulary and new environmental terms.

Lesson Structure (25 Minutes)

⏳ Starter (5 mins) – "Think, Pair, Share"

• Slide 1: Image collage (pollution, recycling, renewable energy, deforestation).
• Question: "¿Qué ves en estas imágenes?" ("What do you see in these images?")
• Activity:
  • Students write 3 words in Spanish they associate with the images.
  • Pair work: Share with a partner and add at least one extra word from each other.

1. Quickfire repetition drill (Teacher introduces words with images; students repeat).
2. Mini whiteboard challenge:

   • Teacher calls out "Hay que…", and students complete the sentence using a verb from the list.
3. Call-and-response:
