I want the plan to focus on makign sure lesson is following and learning outcomes and met incroprated with student task and me asking questions and promort questions to make sure students are engaged,. first i want do behaviour expectations for 5 mins then i want to do a do noiw task which is Explain two Christian beliefs about Jesus’ resurrection (5 marks) and then as,ks tudents to read and give a checlist for other students to mark out of five because i am focusing on verbal feedback and then this is the infomration i presnent to the class what happened next - For the next few days/weeks, Jesus appeared to several people, including Mary Magdalene and the disciples, telling each that he had risen from the dead as he had predicted to them when he was alive. Eventually over 500 people saw him. This ensured the story spread quickly an that there were several different witnesses to the claim that he had risen- and then After 40 days Jesus said his spirit would come down and help his followers and he then ascended into heaven. After the ascension the spirit of God transformed many people’s lives. Just as the resurrection is a matter of faith and interpretation, so is the ascension. There are other explanations but if Jesus had the special power of God to rise from the dead, it is equally possible that this same power means he was able to leave the earth physically and return to heaven. Only Mark and Luke’s gospels finish off their story by telling their readers that, after meeting his disciples and asking them to carry on his good work, Jesus ascended to heaven. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” give me promt questions here and then i want to focus on why did jesus stay on eatth for 4 days instead going to heaven and then i want to assess hwo does the ascecneion onficliudence christians today and have a breif discussion on it then they have to do this task - Explain two ways the ascension influences Christians today (4 marks) and peer assess it using same thing as earlier everyone needs a sheet as a marking sheet to provide verbal feedback make any madded, ment when needed but i need to include task and meet LO
