Safe Driving Foundations

Overview

This 45-minute introductory session is designed for adult learner drivers as the first lesson in the 20-lesson series, "Mastering Safe Driving Skills." It provides a comprehensive introduction to essential safe driving principles and emphasises the importance of road safety aligned with the National Curriculum for England’s focus on personal development, health and wellbeing, and functional skills for adult learners.

Lesson Structure

1. Introduction and Setting Expectations (5 mins)

Welcome the learner and briefly introduce the "Mastering Safe Driving Skills" series.

2. Exploration of Safe Driving Principles (10 mins)
