Share the brief:
“Design a food item that symbolises the spirit of VE Day. It could be a dessert, a sandwich, a fruit sculpture—anything! Think about shape, texture, colour, and the message your piece will send.” Provide each table with word banks and image prompts. Encourage pupils to think beyond typical party foods—maybe a bread loaf shaped like clasped hands, or a jelly in the shape of a dove.
