What are Prepositions?
Special words that tell us WHERE things are They help us describe position and location Very useful in everyday conversations Examples: in, on, under, next to, between
Preposition: IN
Used when something is INSIDE something else The keys are IN my bag The children are IN the park The wool is IN the machine
Preposition: ON
Used when something is ON TOP of something else The cup is ON the table The picture is ON the wall The fabric is ON the cutting board
