🎮 Digraph Hunt Game Instructions

• Word cards (from above) • Digraph sound cards (CH, SH, TH, NG, WH) • Timer • Whiteboard

1. Divide class into 6 groups of 5 students each

2. Give each group one set of digraph sound cards

3. Teacher holds the word cards

Step 1: Teacher displays or reads a word card aloud

Step 2: Groups discuss and identify the digraph (30 seconds)

Step 3: Groups hold up the correct digraph card

Step 4: Teacher models continuous blending of the word

Step 5: All students repeat the word using continuous blending

• 2 points for correct digraph identification

• 1 bonus point for perfect group blending

• Challenge words with multiple digraphs = 3 points

• Speed Round: 15 seconds per word

• Silent Hunt: Students write the digraph instead of showing cards

• Reverse Hunt: Show digraph card, groups find matching words
