Lesson structure (60 minutes)

  5. 42–52 min · Peer editing for clarity. Teacher models respectful feedback: “Your word is more precise because…” and “Could you check whether this word fits the topic?” Students exchange two completed sentences with a partner. Each partner underlines the technical word, checks whether it fits the meaning and suggests one improvement if needed. Students make a final change in joined, legible handwriting.

  6. 52–60 min · Apply and reflect. Display the application and plenary slides. Students write two sentences about a familiar process, such as seed growth, weather or recycling, using at least two technical words. They circle the technical vocabulary and complete the prompt: “My writing is clearer because…” Invite two or three students to read an original and revised sentence aloud.
