Lesson Objectives

Lesson Structure

1. Introduction (10 Minutes) – Tech Trivia Warm-Up

• Begin with a fun, interactive quiz using PowerPoint or a digital quiz app like Kahoot!
• Questions will focus on the apps they have learned:
  • What is Outlook used for?
  • Which tool in Word helps change the font style?
  • How can slides be reordered in PowerPoint?
• Students answer verbally or by raising hands.

2. Reviewing Tech Skills (20 Minutes) – Interactive Stations

Students rotate through three activity stations to reinforce their learnings:

Outlook	Compose an email to a "future Year 3 student" explaining one key tech skill they learned.	Email communication and etiquette.
PowerPoint	Create a single fun slide about a favourite lesson in this unit using animations and images.	Presentation skills.
Word	Write a short paragraph reflecting on their biggest challenge and biggest success in this unit.	Word processing.

• Tip: Divide students into groups of 10 and allow 6 minutes per station before rotating.
• Teacher’s Role: Walk around, observe, and assist where needed.

3. Self-Reflection (15 Minutes) – Personal Growth Journals

• Hand out a printed reflection sheet with the following prompts:
  1. Which skill are you most proud of learning?
  2. What do you still want to improve on?
  3. How can you use Outlook, PowerPoint, or Word in real life?
• Students write or draw their responses in their own creative way (bullet points, colourful text, mind maps).

4. Class Discussion & Sharing (10 Minutes) – Celebration Circle

• Students partner up and share one takeaway from their reflections.
• Invite 3-5 students to present their favourite tech skill or biggest learning moment.
• Teacher wraps up by highlighting progress and excitement for the final lesson in the unit!
