Share small number-play invitations with a child using large counters, or add your own Numicon shapes. Every invitation includes a complete counter alternative, so Numicon shapes are optional. An adult prepares the real materials, reads the setup, offers one invitation and helps the child check by matching, moving or counting. Children can point, build, show, use familiar language or direct the adult’s hands. The 24-page A4 PDF includes 12 small-number invitations within 1–5 and four optional invitations using 6–10. Explore one-to-one matching, changes in spacing, fair comparison, one more or fewer, parts and wholes, hidden parts and enough places for toy guests. Three setup and facilitation guides, two adult checking pages, an observation record and a revisit-planning page support the shared play. Have 20 large, child-appropriate counters, two dishes, an opaque cloth, a tray or card, a play mat, four toy guests and a clear play surface available for the whole pack. The optional Numicon route needs two of each shape 1–5 and one each 6–10. Each invitation lists its smaller kit. Materials are not included; an adult supervises and chooses suitable objects. Suggested ages 3–5 are an editorial guide. Choose, repeat, simplify or stop in response to the child; the larger quantities are optional. These are adult-guided prompts for real tabletop play, with brief adult note spaces, rather than independent child worksheets or manufactured-size templates.
