Pause halfway for a “design check”: students highlight their strongest comparison and add one missing consideration.
47–55 min · Peer critique and refinement. Students exchange work and use the prompts: “I notice…”, “A strong comparison is…”, and “One question or improvement is…”. The reviewer checks for evidence from both designs and consideration of the intended user, ergonomics, culture and sustainability. Students record feedback and refine one claim or annotation.
55–60 min · Gallery share and exit reflection. Students view the comparisons and identify one convincing judgement. Complete the reflection: name the most influential design element or principle, explain how it affects the user or purpose, and state one sustainable or culturally respectful improvement.
