Literacy Lesson Plan: Understanding The Witches by Roald Dahl

Teacher's Guide for Year 4 - 45 Minute Session

Lesson Procedure:

Introduction (5 minutes)

1. Greeting and Settling In: Welcome the students and briefly recap what was read in the previous session.

Main Activity (30 minutes)

Conclusion (10 minutes)

3. Homework Assignment: Assign a short creative writing task where students write a diary entry from the perspective of one of the characters on a specific event from the book.
