What Are Story Elements?
Every great story has special parts These parts work together like a team Learning these parts helps us understand stories better We can use them to create our own amazing stories!
Characters - Who's in the Story?
Characters are the people or animals in stories They can be heroes, villains, or helpers Characters have feelings, thoughts, and personalities Examples: Harry Potter, Goldilocks, The Three Little Pigs
Setting - Where and When?
Setting tells us WHERE the story happens It also tells us WHEN the story takes place Settings can be real or imaginary places Examples: A castle, a forest, a school, long ago or today
