I can write or draw my business idea clearly I can explain my idea to a partner using complete sentences I can identify my target audience and explain why they need my solution I can give positive feedback and suggestions to others
Warm-Up: Problem Detectives
Look around our classroom - what small problems do you notice? Think about problems at home or school Partner up and share ONE problem each Choose your favorite problem to work with today
Step 1: Define Your Problem Clearly
Write your chosen problem in your workbook Answer: Why is this a problem? Answer: Who does it affect? Make it specific - avoid problems that are too big or vague
Step 2: Create Your Solution
Brainstorm your product or service idea Write a short description (2-3 sentences) Draw your idea if it helps you explain it Use sentence starters: 'My idea is...' or 'It helps... because...'
Step 3: Know Your Customer

Extension Challenge for Advanced Thinkers
How could you make your idea different from existing solutions? What would make customers choose YOUR idea over others? What special features could you add? How could you make it better, faster, or more fun?
Reflection Time - Capturing Our Learning
What problem am I solving? What is my solution? Who does it help and why? What am I most proud of from today? One thing I want to improve or develop further
Differentiation Strategies for Today
Visual learners: Drawing and sketching encouraged ADHD support: Movement, partner work, and variety APD support: Clear instructions, visual cues, patient partners Advanced learners: Extension challenges and peer mentoring All learners: Choice in expression (writing or drawing)
