'In front of' means something is at the front The teacher is in front of the class 'Behind' means something is at the back The bag is behind the chair

'Above' means something is higher up The clock is above the door 'Under' means something is lower down The cat is under the table

'Beside' means next to something The book is beside the pencil 'Between' means in the middle of two things The flower is between two trees
