✏️ Part 2: Creating Your Matariki Keychain Design

Follow these steps to create a simple keychain design. Tick each step as you complete it.

 Open Illustrator and create a New Document (A4, RGB colour mode).

 Use the Ellipse Tool to draw a circle — hold Shift to keep it perfectly round.

 Use the Rectangle Tool or Polygon Tool to add at least two more shapes inside or around your circle.

 Add a small circle near the top of your design for the keychain hole.

 Select all shapes and use Ctrl + G to group them.

 Open the Layers panel and rename your layer "Keychain Design".

 Save your file as an .ai file using File → Save As.
