8.The recount says, “Ka hoki a Maia ki te kāinga me te ngenge, engari he tau tōna ngākau.” Explain how the contrast word “engari” helps develop the ending.

9.Write a 5–7 sentence recount in te reo Māori about a real or imagined community activity. Include an orientation, at least three sequenced events, a concluding reflection and at least two sequencing expressions. Do not include identifying details about yourself or others.
