Teaching Instructions

This lesson will be an introduction to the class's new topic of the Eden Project. I will explain what it is and how it allows scientists to gather new information on the environment. I will then explain to the children that over the next few days, we will be working like those scientists to find out how important our natural environment is. During this lesson, they will use two websites, BBC Bitesize and the Eden Project website, to find answers to questions I have prepared on the importance of plants. This lesson will be a progressive learning experience before making a poster about what the world would be like without plants
