1. Introduction (10 mins)

  • Introduce the terms latitude and longitude with a simple analogy: Use a beach ball to demonstrate “lines like a ladder (latitude)” and “slices like an orange (longitude).”
  • Show on globe: Highlight the Equator (0° latitude) and Prime Meridian (0° longitude). Explain their importance in dividing the Earth into hemispheres.

2. Guided Exploration (15 mins)
