I strongly believe that adding new playground equipment will make recess more fun and encourage students to be active. Many children feel bored during breaks, and new equipment would help them stay healthy and happy. Have you ever noticed how some students just sit quietly during recess because there isn't much to do? This is a problem because recess is an important time for students to relax and recharge.

Research shows that physical activity during breaks can improve concentration and behaviour in class. For example, a recent study found that students who play actively during recess are more focused and ready to learn afterwards. Therefore, it is clear that playground equipment is not just fun but essential for our wellbeing.

Furthermore, new equipment could bring students together and help make new friends. When children play on swings, climbing frames, or slides, they learn to cooperate and share, which builds a stronger school community. Shouldn't our school be a place where everyone feels included and happy?

I understand that budgets can be tight, but investing in playground equipment is investing in our health and happiness. We could even organise fundraising events to help cover some of the costs. Surely, this is something we all could support for the benefit of every student.
