The Mystery in the Old Library

Sarah pushed open the heavy wooden door of the old library. The hinges creaked loudly in the silence. Dust particles danced in the afternoon sunlight streaming through the tall windows.

She had come here looking for information about her great-grandmother, who had worked in this very library fifty years ago. The librarian, Mrs Chen, had mentioned finding some old employee records in the basement.

As Sarah walked between the towering bookshelves, she noticed something odd. One section of books looked newer than the others, and there was a small gap where a book seemed to be missing. Behind the gap, she could see what looked like a folded piece of paper.
