On her first morning there, she discovered that her grandmother's favourite chicken, Clucky, had escaped from the coop and was nowhere to be found. Sarah searched everywhere - behind the barn, near the pond, and through the vegetable garden. Just as she was about to give up, she heard a familiar clucking sound coming from under the old apple tree. There was Clucky, sitting proudly on a nest of eggs! Sarah carefully guided Clucky back to the coop, and her grandmother was delighted.
