1. Work with your partner to follow these steps:

Step 1: One person stands in the same spot

Step 2: The other person uses chalk to trace around the shadow

Step 3: Use a ruler to measure how long the shadow is in centimetres

Step 4: Look at which direction the shadow points (north, south, east, west)

Step 5: Draw what you see in the table below
