🌱 Introduction

Farmers are increasingly using renewable energy to power their properties. Two common types are solar panels (which capture energy from the sun) and wind turbines (which generate electricity from wind). In this activity, you will plan and design your very own renewable energy farm by adding these installations to the farm map below!

🗺️ Your Farm Map

Instructions: Use the blank farm template below to design your renewable energy farm. Follow the steps:

1. Draw at least 3 wind turbines — place them in open, windy areas (away from trees and buildings).

2. Draw at least 2 solar panel arrays — place them in sunny, flat areas facing north.

3. Add a key/legend in the box provided to show what your symbols mean.
