📚 Part 1: Say and Blend

WALT: We are learning to sound out words by blending sounds and recognising the split digraph a_e, or magic e.

Teacher mini-model: Say each phoneme clearly, then blend smoothly. Do not add a “uh” sound after a consonant.

skip: s-k-i-p → skip

trip: t-r-i-p → trip

bring: b-r-i-ng → bring

Remember: s-k, t-r and b-r are adjacent consonants, or consonant blends. They are not double consonants.
