What is identity? Your identity is what makes you unique - your background, experiences, values, interests, and the groups you belong to.

Language Features for Narrative Writing:

Metaphor: Comparing two things without using 'like' or 'as' (e.g., "My heart was a drum")
Simile: Comparing using 'like' or 'as' (e.g., "I felt as nervous as a cat")
Sensory language: Words that appeal to the five senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch)
First person: Using 'I', 'me', 'my' to tell your story
Dialogue: Direct speech to show conversations
