💡 Differentiation strategies

Oral/audio-friendly option: A partner or teacher may read the word bank and passage aloud. The learner may say answers before recording them, tap syllables or use an audio recording.

Reduced cognitive load: Complete one word at a time, cover unused words, use coloured marks for each syllable and begin with the four words in Question 2 before attempting the full sort.

Additional support: Provide a syllable-tapping model, allow extra processing time and accept spoken, typed or scribed responses.
