My Writing Success Criteria

☐ 1. I use a capital letter and a full stop for every sentence.

☐ 2. I use capital letters for proper nouns, such as names of planets.

☐ 3. I use co-ordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so) to extend my sentences.

☐ 4. I use relative clauses to add extra information.

☐ 5. I use a variety of punctuation marks.

☐ 6. I use subheadings to organise my paragraphs.

☐ 7. I read carefully through my work to find mistakes.

☐ 8. I read through my work and think of ways to make it better, even if it has no mistakes.
