🌟 Part 1: Matariki and Sky Rhymes

Seven sisters in the sky so bright,
Matariki shines throughout the night.
Winter stars that twinkle high,
New beginnings in July!

Clouds like cotton balls so white,
Floating softly, what a sight!
Sometimes grey and full of rain,
Sunshine comes back once again.

Buzzy bee goes flower to flower,
Working hard each sunny hour.
Yellow stripes and wings so fast,
Making honey that will last.

🐦 Part 2: Birds and Bugs

Little sparrow hops around,
Pecking crumbs upon the ground.
Tweet, tweet, tweet throughout the day,
Sparrow loves to hop and play.

Butterfly with wings so bright,
Orange, yellow, red and white.
Dancing in the summer air,
Pretty patterns everywhere.

Hoot, hoot, goes the owl at night,
Big round eyes so sharp and bright.
Sitting quietly in the tree,
Watching everything he can see.

Wiggly worm beneath the ground,
Moving soil without a sound.
Helping plants to grow up tall,
Earthworms help us one and all.

🌿 Part 3: Nature Friends

Tree so tall with branches wide,
Birds and bugs can come inside.
Leaves that rustle in the breeze,
Thank you, mighty forest trees!

Pitter, patter, drops of rain,
Washing windows, streets and lane.
Flowers drink the water sweet,
Puddles splash beneath our feet.

Golden sun up in the sky,
Shining bright and burning high.
Warming earth and you and me,
Happy as happy can be!
