Persuasive writers choose words and patterns that help readers think or feel strongly.

4.Choose three different words from the word bank. Write one sentence for each, persuading the school to add more sports gear for pupils to use.

Write to persuade

Plan a short paragraph asking for a longer lunchtime play break. Try to include at least two emotive words, a question that encourages the reader to agree, and repetition of an important word or phrase.
