Kiwi birds are very special animals that live only in New Zealand. These brown, fluffy birds cannot fly because they have very small wings. They are about the size of a chicken and make their homes in burrows under the ground. Sadly, there are not many kiwi birds left, so people in New Zealand work hard to protect them.
