The School Pet Mystery

Mrs. Johnson's class had a special pet rabbit named Cocoa. Every morning, the children would take turns feeding Cocoa fresh carrots and lettuce. Cocoa lived in a large cage near the classroom window where he could see the playground.

One Tuesday morning, when Emma arrived at school early, she noticed something strange. Cocoa's cage door was wide open, and there were small brown pellets scattered on the floor nearby. Emma looked around the empty classroom but couldn't see Cocoa anywhere.

"Oh no!" Emma whispered to herself. She noticed that the classroom window was slightly open, and there were tiny paw prints on the windowsill. Emma also saw that Cocoa's favourite blue blanket was missing from his cage.

Just then, Emma heard a soft rustling sound coming from behind the bookshelf. She quietly walked over and peeked behind it. There was Cocoa, sitting comfortably on his blue blanket, munching on some lettuce leaves that had fallen from yesterday's feeding time.
