Explore (15 Minutes)

• Activity: Divide the class into small groups and provide each group with Number Line Cards (positive/negative integers, fractions, decimals). Ask students to classify the cards into groups (integers, rational numbers, irrational numbers) and place them correctly on a large number line on the floor.

• Objective: Clarify and consolidate students' understanding of the real number system.
• Teacher-Led Discussion: Use the interactive whiteboard to demonstrate properties of real numbers and operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Highlight different types of numbers (whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, irrational numbers).

Elaborate (15 Minutes)
