Weather and Art

Overview

This 49-minute art session invites 5th-grade students to explore how different weather conditions influence artistic colors, textures, and moods by creating mixed-media collages inspired by seasonal weather patterns. Students will engage in sensory observation, critical thinking, and creative expression, developing both artistic skills and emotional literacy through art. The lesson aligns with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) by incorporating collaborative discussions, descriptive language, and presentation skills.

Learning Objectives
