City Council Presentations

Overview

In this final lesson of the unit "Civic Voices: City Innovations," students will prepare and practice their presentations to the city council. The focus will be on persuasive communication techniques and peer feedback to refine their proposals. This lesson builds students’ skills in speaking, listening, and argumentation, aligned with Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Social Studies.
