First aid is immediate care for injuries It helps prevent infections and further harm Everyone can learn basic first aid skills We help others when they are hurt or sick

Types of Bandages Activity
Adhesive bandages - for small cuts Gauze bandages - for larger wounds Elastic bandages - for sprains and support Triangular bandages - for arm slings

Treating Cuts and Scrapes
Caring for Nosebleeds
Sit up straight and lean slightly forward Pinch the soft part of the nose Hold for 10 minutes without peeking Apply ice pack to the bridge of the nose

Building Our First Aid Kit

Why Sterilization Matters
