Seeds come in many shapes and sizes Each seed has a baby plant inside Seeds wait for the right conditions They need warmth and water to start growing

Stage 2: Germination - The Sprout
Seeds absorb water and swell up The seed coat cracks open First, roots grow down into the soil Then, a green shoot grows up toward light
