Exploring Narrative Texts

Read the train story. Then answer the questions. You can write, draw or tell your ideas to a grown-up.

The Lost Lunchbox

Hudson, Grace and Zach were riding the train to visit the seaside. Grace spotted a blue lunchbox under a seat. “Someone has left this behind!” she said. The train was nearly at the next station. Hudson asked the conductor for help. The conductor made an announcement, and soon a smiling passenger hurried over. “That’s mine!” she said. She thanked the children and shared some crunchy apple slices with them. At the seaside station, the friends waved goodbye and stepped onto the sunny platform.
