📚 Part 1: Spot the Error

WALT: We Are Learning To identify and correct common proofreading errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.

Success criteria: I can identify an error, explain the correction and use Australian English conventions.

Dyslexia-friendly option: Read each sentence aloud, use a ruler or piece of paper to track across the line, and circle one error at a time.

Rewrite each sentence correctly. Check capital letters, spelling, punctuation, grammar and word choice.

🔍 Part 3: Proofread a Paragraph

Read the paragraph carefully. Rewrite it with all proofreading errors corrected.

On friday, our class visited the science museum in sydney. The guide explained how volcanoes erupt, and showed us a model of a tectonic plate. Everyone was interested, accept Liam, who had forgot to bring his glasses. At the end of the visit we wrote a short reflection about what we had learnt.
