"The Day I Learnt to Ride"

Last Saturday, Dad said it was time to learn bike riding. I felt scared. My hands were shaking as I held the handlebars.

"I can't do this," I thought. The bike seemed so big and wobbly.

Dad held the back of my seat. "I've got you," he said gently. We started slowly. Step by step, I pushed the pedals. After ten minutes, I realised Dad had let go. I was riding by myself!

I felt proud and brave. Sometimes scary things turn out to be amazing. Now I love riding my bike to school every day. I learnt that trying new things helps me grow.
