Today was absolutely incredible! We woke up at 5:30am (yes, you read that right – me, awake before sunrise!) to watch the sun rise over Uluru. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about the 10.6-kilometre base walk around Uluru. My fitness level is more "couch potato" than "mountain goat," but the experience was worth every sore muscle! The funniest moment came when a curious dingo wandered into our lunch spot. Dad jumped about two metres in the air and nearly threw his sandwich at it! The dingo just looked at him like he was the strange one (which, let's be honest, he probably was).

What struck me most was learning about the deep connection between the Anangu people and this land. It's not just a tourist destination – it's a living, breathing part of their culture and identity. I feel privileged to have experienced just a tiny glimpse of this ancient wisdom.
