At a wildlife sanctuary, Kirra, Hudson and Lachlan-Mae are preparing a quiet observation area for recovering animals. Read each situation carefully. Choose responses that are respectful, clear and safe. There can be more than one helpful response.

The mix-up

Kirra promised to bring a set of animal observation cards. She forgot them. Hudson says, “You never remember anything!” Kirra looks upset and says, “I did forget today, but I want to help fix it.” Lachlan-Mae listens and suggests they ask a sanctuary guide for spare cards. They agree to write a reminder for next time.
