A book for the journey

One rainy Saturday, Niamh found a book beside the window. Its cover showed a family setting off on an adventure. “I wonder where they will go,” she said. She opened the book and began to read. The family in the story packed a bag, put on their coats and followed a winding path. They crossed a little bridge and stopped beside a tall tree. A small box was tucked among its roots. Inside the box was a shiny key! Niamh guessed that the key might open a garden entrance. She turned the page to find out. The family tried the key in a wooden gate nearby. Click! It opened. Beyond it was a garden full of bright flowers and buzzing bees. When Niamh finished the story, she smiled. “I liked looking for clues,” she said. “I want to find out what the family discovers next!”
