Collaborative Playwriting Workshop

Create the story
1.Invent two characters for a play. Give each one a name, an age and three personality words.
2.What challenge will your two characters need to overcome together?
3.Choose one place where your play could happen.

Write the scene
4.Write the beginning of your scene as a conversation between your two characters. Give each character at least four spoken lines.
5.Describe how your characters could solve their challenge. Write two or three sentences.

Get ready to perform
7.Plan how each character will use their voice and body on stage. Include one voice choice and one movement for each character.
